Optimal Cardiovascular Health
Buena Park Heart Center
Better Blood Flow,
Good blood flow is essential for good heart health. Blood flow is the way the body delivers oxygen and nutrients to the heart and other organs.
Suboptimal blood flow can lead to various cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, stroke, and peripheral artery disease. These conditions can cause damage to the heart and blood vessels, which can ultimately lead to heart failure or stroke.
Buena Park Heart Center specializes in promoting healthy blood flow and optimal cardiovascular health. We use the latest diagnostic and treatment options to promote healthy circulation and optimal heart health. This, in turn, helps to improve the quality of life and overall health of our patients.

EECP Treatments Performed
Annual Patient Retention
Buena Park Heart Center
Buena Park Heart Center was founded by award-winning cardiologist Dr. Joe Caceres, with the goal of providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with cardiac conditions. Dr. Caceres envisioned a single, warm and inviting location that would meet all the needs of patients, without the need for referrals to other facilities for diagnostic testing. This was achieved by investing in on-site diagnostic equipment, including echocardiogram and stress test machinery.
Throughout the past three decades, Buena Park Heart Center has continuously expanded its services to meet the growing needs of patients. Since 2007, the practice has offered enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP), an FDA-approved non-invasive treatment known to improve blood flow and reduce the symptoms of angina and heart failure. Buena Park Heart Center quickly became the largest provider of EECP therapy on the West Coast, and has now treated thousands of patients with this therapy.
Our commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients has never wavered. We are proud to have served the Orange County community for 30 years, and remain committed to find new ways to improve our services and to remain at the forefront of cardiovascular medicine.
An echocardiogram is a non-invasive test that uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of the heart. It allows for the evaluation of the heart's structure, function, and blood flow, helping to detect problems such as heart valve disorders, heart muscle disease, and congenital heart defects. The test is painless, safe and provides valuable information about the health of the heart and can help to guide treatment and management of heart conditions.
Stress Echocardiogram &
The stress echocardiogram provides information about the blood supply of the coronary arteries to the heart muscle before and after exercise.
The cardiac Positron Emission Tomography imaging (PET) shows the coronary blood flow to the walls of the heart in high-definition digital pictures.
Both tests help to detect blocked or narrowed coronary arteries to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease.
Cardiac catheterization & coronary angiogram (CATH) reveal if any of the coronary arteries that wrap around the heart are narrowed and detect the precise locations of partial or complete blockages. Furthermore, these procedures demonstrate the systolic function of the heart and whether it has been damaged.
Angioplasty is the widening of the blocked coronary artery by using a tiny balloon with the deployment of a flexible wire mesh tube called a stent, which remains in place holding the artery open to improve the coronary blood flow.
EECP (Enhanced External Counterpulsation) is a non-invasive treatment for individuals with angina and heart failure. It uses compression cuffs around the legs to increase blood flow to the heart, reducing symptoms and improving the quality of life.
